Thursday Drink Of The Day

Thought to be invented sometime at the end of World War 1 by a Parisian military officer, the Sidecar is a classic cocktail made of Cognac, orange liqueur, and lemon juice.  The rim of the glass is often dipped in sugar, also.  Having more alcohol than either the Manhattan or the Martini, the Sidecar is especially dangerous given how easy the drink goes down.  Next time you go out, order one of these.  I doubt you will be disappointed.
